Designed by a broom maker, for broom makers.
A dependable sewing vise is an essential tool for making floor brooms. It securely holds the hurl in place while you complete one of the most important steps in broom making—the final sewing.
After using vises with traditional wing nuts, I wanted something that was faster, more comfortable, and easier to adjust. That's why every vise features durable star knobs instead of inexpensive wing nuts. The large knobs are comfortable to grip and make tightening and adjusting the vise quick and effortless, even during longer sewing sessions.
Each vise is handcrafted from solid reclaimed oak, giving new life to beautiful urban lumber that might otherwise end up in a landfill. Every piece is carefully assembled using quality hardware, and all edges are routed smooth for comfortable handling and years of dependable use.
